Homework Help
Your child provides the homework, we provide our patience, knowledge, and expertise. We are here to help your child gain confidence in learning the material inside out; while making it easier for you, the parent, to have more free time with your child. Tutoring also available.
Spanish Lessons
Your child will be getting
introductory Spanish lessons twice a week, as part of our enrichment
program. A second language is a
necessity in today’s world.
Monthly trips to the Library
During the warmer
months we will be attending programs at our local library, and on Free-time
Fridays we will be having fun in our backyard.
ELA & Math Help
Special sessions will focus on improving test scores. These tests are crucial as your child climbs up the academic ladder to success. We will provide tutoring and mini group lessons to support these exams.
Kid Zone
Students will have access to our play room equipped with a fooseball table, train set, video games and more, during their free time.
Healthy snack included.
Your child will feel at home, in a relaxing environment, conducive to learning.
Introduction
Our goal is to provide quality help to families who are struggling with homework. Sometimes your child just isn’t motivated enough to do their assignments, or perhaps they are procrastinating because they just don’t get it. We wish to help students improve their homework experience. We are here to provide affordable help that’s FUN!
ABOUT US:
Lourdes Gamez has been bringing the joy of laughter to children of all ages, as LOOPSY LOO the Clown for 10+ years. Mrs. Gamez is the owner of Confetti Clowns & Characters, a children’s entertainment company, specializing in birthday parties and children events. When she is not facepainting, or wowing children with her magic shows, she’s teaching them reading, writing and math during after school hours. She is a motivated individual, also volunteering her time as a Catechist for Our Lady of the Assumption School.
Lourdes Gamez is a proud graduate of Mercy College with a Masters in Elementary Education /Bilingual Extension. She also holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Baruch College.
Our Staff:
Our high School students are soon to be teachers themselves,
with education as their field of choice.
We also have our very own Middle Schoolers from PS 71 who are present
members of their prestigious Junior Honor Roll Society.
